eCareSoft began implementation of eCS Cirrus, their electronic health record software, at Crescent Hospital System Lancaster’s 50,000 ft2 facilities. The hospital underwent a complete remodel, and is close to opening its doors to the community. Built in 1983 the hospital’s wise leadership realized the building wasn’t the only thing that needed renovation.

A hospital that truly serves its community must provide the optimal systems, procedures, and work environment for the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, all the way up to the administration. In 2013, Crescent Hospital System Lancaster visionaries and operation experts knew that technology needed to be the foundation.

It wasn’t a simple decision, and less with the number of good solutions on the EHR market. After months of deliberation, demonstrations, meetings and negotiation, the leadership team chose eCS Cirrus, the complete clinical, revenue cycle and financial EHR from Austin based eCareSoft, Inc.

“We are very excited to to serve Lancaster and the surrounding communities, and look forward to partnering with eCaresoft to operate this hospital efficiently. They allow us to do what we love to do, take excellent care of our patients,” shared Crescent Hospital System’s VP of Operations, Bradley Henderson – MBA, RN.

eCS Cirrus’ uninterrupted, integrated architecture makes the future look brighter than the past. However, serving patients in the present is even more important, and eCareSoft believes today Crescent Hospital System Lancaster is stronger with their technology.

“We are excited that Bradley and the team chose eCareSoft, and I believe they were the right fit for us too. Crescent Hospital Systemis going to make us a better company, and we know that eCS Cirrus will make them a better hospital. Our technology is powerful and we are growing. 2013 is going to be a big year for eCareSoft,” said eCareSoft’s CEO, Jorge Camargo.

The walls are all that remain from 1983, and what was will be a memory, as new patients are introduced to the highest level of care. Crescent Hospital System Lancaster, its 200+ staff, systems and eCS Cirrus will deliver quality care today, with an eye on tomorrow.
