MetroHealth First Ever Epic Customer to Achieve Inpatient, Outpatient Stage 7 Status

The MetroHealth System announces they have been recognized by the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society as a Stage 7 Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) hospital.

This award represents attainment of the highest level on the EMRAM model.  The EMRAM model tracks electronic medical record progress at hospitals and health systems.

This award places MetroHealth in the top three percent of all hospitals and health care systems in the U.S. in terms of the completeness and use of its electronic medical records.

MetroHealth is the first health care system ever to achieve this status in both the hospital and ambulatory settings.

MetroHealth System is 523-bed health system based out of Cleveland, OH.  It is affiliated with two hospitals, MetrohHealth Medical Center and MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio and one ambulatory surgery center, MetroHealth West 150th Health and Surgery Center.
