Definitive’s data has also recently helped MedTech companies, the US government, and the general public navigate the COVID-19 crisis, first by helping to plan for shortages with its COVID-19 Capacity Predictor and most recently through its upcoming elective procedures index, which uses comprehensive claims data to identify the short-term landscape for elective surgeries, and which specialties and surgery categories are poised to bounce back.

All award nominations were evaluated by an independent panel of experts within the MedTech industry, with the winning products and companies selected based on a variety of considerations, including innovation, design and user-experience, as well as overall technological advancement for their respective categories.
