Framingham healthcare data & analytics company recognized for fourth consecutive year

FRAMINGHAM, MA – November 23, 2020 – Definitive Healthcare today announced that it has been ranked the #14 Top Place to Work in Massachusetts, in the category of large companies, by The Boston Globe. This is the fourth year in a row the company was recognized as one of the top places to work in the state – ranked 6th in 2019, 4th in 2018, and 3rd in 2017

This year’s Top Places to Work rankings are based on confidential survey information from 80,000-plus employees at 285 Massachusetts organizations, collected by Energage (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Top Places to Work recognizes the state’s leading workplaces, voted on by the people who know them best — their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement.

“We are thrilled to be named a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts for the fourth year in a row,” said Jason Krantz, founder and CEO of Definitive Healthcare. “Our culture is at the heart of everything we do. Continually earning placement on this list, and others like it, is a real tribute to what our employees have created here: an extraordinarily successful company with a fantastic community-focused culture.”

Definitive Healthcare’s award-winning company culture is driven by its highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative employees – and by its approachable and team-first leadership. Definitive Healthcare operates on the premise of encouraging a strong work-life balance and ongoing commitment to the greater community, and by cultivating a fun, high-energy environment.

Definitive Healthcare’s rapid growth continually puts employees front and center in a fast-moving organization with no shortage of opportunities. Everyone shares in the success of the organization, and high performers are rewarded with advancement as the company continues to grow.

A key component of the Definitive Healthcare culture is DefinitiveCares, which started in 2015. Definitive Cares is a company-wide volunteer program that creates opportunities and structure for employees to give back to the local community. Over the last three years, the company and its employees have volunteered nearly 6,500 hours. In 2020, employees have contributed over $55,000 to support a host of youth and education programs, civil rights and racial justice causes, as well as a mix of charities targeting food and hunger, healthcare, shelter and homeless and LGBTQ efforts.

This year, the company has also donated its ICU hospital bed and ventilator data to government organizations and the general public in the form of predictive COVID-19 dashboards. These dashboards have been used by the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Department of Defense, the Department of Human Services – and integrated into CNN’s 411 Coronavirus Resource page, Amazon Web Service’s COVID-19 data lake, Esri’s COVID-19 GIS Hub, and U.S. News & World Report’s Healthiest Communities data.

Earlier this year, Definitive Healthcare was also recognized, for the fourth consecutive year, as a Best Place to Work in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal.

Definitive Healthcare continues to hire across all departments and all levels. For more information about the company and to view new job positions, visit https://www.definitivehc.com/about/careers
