Boston Business Journal Dubs Jason Krantz “RSM Middle Market Executive of the Year”
FRAMINGHAM, MA – February 12, 2020 – Definitive Healthcare, the leading provider of data, intelligence, announced today that its CEO, Jason Krantz, received the “RSM Middle Market Executive of the Year” award from the Boston Business Journal, based on nominations from the Massachusetts business community. This award will be presented at the Boston Business Journal’s inaugural Middle Market Awards luncheon today at 11:30am at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, alongside a live ranking of the” 50 Fastest-Growing Middle-Market Companies in Massachusetts.”
This is an all-new Boston Business Journal awards program that identifies and recognizes high growth companies in the important middle market space. In addition to a list of rankings, the journal will also honor three people and companies in three special categories – Executive, Innovator, and Deal of the Year – via nominations from the business community to help make the decision. For each category, they looked to select winners based on creative leadership, innovative ideas, risk taking, and growth strategies. Definitive Healthcare CEO, Jason Krantz, was honored with this year’s Executive category, sponsored by RSM –
- RSM Middle Market Executive of the Year: Jason Krantz, CEO, Definitive Healthcare
- Citizens Bank Middle Market Innovator of the Year: Nicole Sahin, CEO, Globalization Partners
- Middle Market Deal of the Year: ALKU-Westview Partners-FFL Partners recapitalization
“Jason stood out for his ability to effectively lead the company from startup to industry leader; for managing acquisition and overseeing equity deals. Additionally, his leadership has been evident through the best workplace awards the company has received and recognition for the company’s consistent and outstanding growth over several years. And, finally, for creating and leading a company that fills a previously unmet need in the market,” said Carolyn Jones of the Boston Business Journal.
In addition, Definitive Healthcare’s numerical ranking on the Boston Business Journal’s Middle Market Leaders list will be revealed at today’s event. The heavily researched list includes both private and public companies in an array of industries — from technology companies to an electrical contractor — that posted annual revenue between $25 million and $1 billion for 2016, 2017 and 2018.
“While it was a surprise and honor to be selected for this exciting award, this acknowledgement truly reflects on the entire Definitive Healthcare team, who have put their hearts and souls and a lot of hard work into helping build our incredible company,” said Jason Krantz, CEO of Definitive Healthcare. “Our success and growth has only been possible because of the determination of all of our employees who are dedicated to serving our 2,500+ customers every day.”
