The challenge

Prior to working directly with Definitive Healthcare, Medisolv relied on a third-party integration to sync Definitive Healthcare data into HubSpot. This setup introduced several challenges: limited visibility into field mappings, additional costs for adding new fields, lack of control over nightly data refreshes, and persistent data quality issues such as closed or merged facilities being reintroduced into HubSpot. These constraints made it difficult for Medisolv to confidently manage CRM data and support evolving business needs.

The solution

Medisolv adopted Definitive Healthcare’s new HubSpot integration offering which removed the need for a third-party middleware solution and enabled a direct, flexible data connection. Definitive Healthcare owned and supported the integration, allowing Medisolv to map new fields without additional contracts or costs and to maintain greater control over how data was written into HubSpot.

According to Medisolv, the setup process was straightforward and seamless. Despite not having a highly technical internal team, Medisolv found the integration easy to understand and deploy. Field mapping requests were handled quickly, and the integration launched without disruption or downtime. The implementation also enabled Medisolv to review and clean up legacy CRM fields that had previously been hard to manage.

The impact

Medisolv saw immediate results with the new solution: data updates became transparent and reliable, with clear visibility into when records were refreshed. The team was able to eliminate outdated and inaccurate records, including closed or merged facilities, improving overall CRM data quality. Medisolv also expanded the number of data fields available directly within HubSpot, supporting more advanced market analysis and internal reporting.

Medisolv now uses Definitive Healthcare data in HubSpot to inform pricing models, market segmentation, and white space analysis. In particular, new ACO-related fields have helped business development better understand organizational affiliations without relying on manual spreadsheets. The integration has also positioned Medisolv to explore new markets with greater confidence.
