Definitive Healthcare Brightens the Holiday Season by Donating $193,901 to Local Charities

Partnering with 30 Massachusetts-Based Charity Programs, Definitive Healthcare Continues its Tradition of Giving Back to the Community

FRAMINGHAM, MA – December 19, 2018 – It may be the season of giving, but for local, Framingham healthcare data and analytics company Definitive Healthcare, it’s a year-round tradition. This year, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Definitive Healthcare employees, and through their partnerships with the local community, 30 Massachusetts-based charities received donations totaling $193,901 in 2018 – a combination of nearly 100K in financial donations and over 92K in man-hours.

The DefinitiveCares program – established in 2015 and run by Definitive Healthcare with the mission of giving back to the community through volunteer initiatives – has focused on providing assistance to the community through both commitments of time and effort, as well as financial contributions. These efforts help to foster a more supportive and generous environment both throughout Definitive Healthcare and the community at large.

Just this year alone, DefinitiveCares has packaged over 40,608 meals for Rise Against Hunger, raised $60,000 for the Jimmy Fund, planted 2,800 bulbs for the Esplanade Association, donated $20,000 to Habitat for Humanity, meal-prepped for 300+ patients at the Boston Children’s Hospital, and worked to improve the lives of hundreds of children and low-income families by running company-organized Christmas and Mother’s Day Gift Drives – supporting over 85 families in need. Other DefinitiveCares partners include the Crossroads School which is dedicated to educating children and adults with Autism, Boston Food Bank, Reach Out and Read, Westborough Food Pantry, Cradles to Crayons, The Learning Center for the Deaf, Dana Farber, the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless program, and many others.
