Shamsuddin is a 10-year healthcare industry veteran and has been a core member of the Definitive Healthcare executive team since joining the company in 2015. As Chief Product Officer at Definitive Healthcare, Shamsuddin has been the key architect in building a powerful product strategy and growth initiatives. She has driven product innovation with the ideation and execution of more than 25 product launches and releases.

In addition to her responsibilities as Chief Product Officer, Shamsuddin is actively involved in the community. She was instrumental in founding the company'sDefinitiveCarescharitable program in 2015, an employee-run initiative that contributes hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to local and national charities each year. Shamsuddin graduated with a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from Harvard’s School of Public Health, and previously worked at other leading healthcare organizations like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Deloitte & Touche Healthcare Practice, and non-profit institutions focused on national health initiatives (RTI International). Last year, Kate Shamsuddin also received the Worcester Business Journal’s 2019 Outstanding Women in Business award.
