The Arkansas hospital with the highest net patient revenue is the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical Center, with an NPR of $1 billion. This short-term acute care hospital is a part of the UAMS IDN and is located in Little Rock, along with the other two hospitals that make up the top three hospitals in Arkansas based on NPR.

The UAMS Medical Center is the first comprehensive stroke center in Arkansas to be certified by the Joint Commission and the only one in central Arkansas. They also have the only adult Level I Trauma Center in Arkansas. Baptist Health Medical Center has the third-highest net patient revenue in Arkansas, with an NPR of $652 million. With 718 staffed beds, the Baptist Health Medical Center is the largest hospital in Arkansas, reflected in its over 26,000 patient discharges per year.
