Top 10 hospitals by labor and delivery births

If you were born in the last 100 years, chances are that you were born in a hospital. Dozens, if not hundreds, of babies are born in almost every hospital every day. But some labor and delivery wings are much busier than others.

Using the Definitive Healthcare HospitalView product, we created a list of the top 10 hospitals with the most labor and delivery births in 2024. The results in the following analysis are sourced from the Medicare Cost Report and proprietary research and aggregated from the most recent 12-month interval tracked in our database. It’s important to note that our analysis represents estimated births as reported in the Medicare Cost Report and doesn’t represent actual births.
