The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) emphasizes the importance of tracking surgical case data to analyze patient outcomes. Tisch Hospital in New York City has the highest net patient revenue among NSQIP hospitals at nearly $6.3 billion. NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic report net patient revenues of $5.7 billion and $5.2 billion, respectively.
Each of the top 20 hospitals on the list have a net patient revenue of more than $2.5 billion and average nearly $3.6 billion.
Six of the top 20 NSQIP hospitals are in New York and two are in both California and Massachusetts. Many of these hospitals are also top Magnet hospitals that demonstrate quality nursing and patient care.
