The list above shows a snapshot of the anesthesiology landscape, dominated primarily by large, health system-affiliated physician groups, with some tied to major academic medical centers and integrated delivery networks.
In first place is Northwell Health Physician Partners. This New York physician group practice has more than 6,100 physicians, nearly three times the size of the next largest group.
US Anesthesia Partners is the second-largest anesthesiology physician group, with 2,343physicians. They are one of the top Florida physician groups based on their Medicare charges.
Yale Medicine comes in third with 2,117 physicians.
