Definitive Healthcare Offers Full-Year ICD-10 Claims Analytics, ACO Financial and Quality Data

The ICD-10 coding system is more comprehensive than its predecessor ICD-9, allowing providers to report diagnoses and procedures in greater detail and enabling clients to gain greater insights regarding patient care.

Definitive Healthcare also added two new visual dashboards to its Hospitals database: the Financial Comparisons Overview and Quality Performance Overview. The Financial Comparisons Overview uses interactive tables and charts to display financial information for individual hospitals. Both financial metrics and financial ratios can be examined with the new visual dashboard, improving client ability to compare financial performance between facilities.

The Quality Performance Overview uses interactive maps, charts, and tables to visually display the universe of hospitals participating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quality programs. The dashboard can be used to illustrate data at the hospital level for the Value Based Purchasing (VBP), Readmission Rate Reduction, and Hospital-Acquired Condition (HAC) programs, or as an overview for all three.
