Leukemia and lymphoma are the two most prevalent types of blood cancer in the U.S. Leukemia affects the blood and bone marrow, while lymphoma specifically impacts a patient’s lymph nodes.

In the United States, approximately 456,000 people are living with or in remission from leukemia, according to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Meanwhile, the American Cancer Society reports that around 913,000 individuals are affected by lymphoma. Together, these hematologic cancers impact an estimated 1.37 million people nationwide, highlighting their substantial burden on the U.S. population.
