According to Definitive Healthcare data, South Carolina’s hospital market is dominated by a few powerful systems, most notably the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Medical Center, Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, and Lexington Medical Center, which together generate nearly $6.8 billion in net patient revenue (NPR).
MUSC Medical Center leads the state by a wide margin, bringing in $3.28 billion in NPR.
